🎯The SECURITY of our client data is crucial. In our role, we have access to employee and family
member personal health information, birthdates, social security numbers, compensation data,
and more.

Our Agency is well-established in the San Francisco Bay Area and is poised for significant growth over the next few years.

In the first 90 days, the candidate will:

●Complete training and webinars for our most frequently used tools, e.g., CRM, various
benefit portals (Ease, Rippling), Zoom, Dropbox, 1Password, Slack, Google Workspace,
DocuSign and more
● Establish a timeline and training plan to qualify for a CA Life/Health license
● Process benefits data for new hires, terminations, and other benefit changes
●Audit carrier invoices and client payroll records to ensure accuracy/data matching
● Test customized employee benefit portals before they go live to clients
● Assist clients in getting set up with automated payments and online carrier enrollment
● Prepare forms and letters to update client-level changes to carriers
● Learn the basics of employee benefits by shadowing other team members, attend live
(online) open enrollment meetings, and reviewing historical recordings

By the end of the first year, the candidate will be able to:

●Obtain CA Life/Health license
●Respond directly to client inquiries
● Shadow other team members/participate in regular client check-in and open enrollment
meetings
● Build/customize a benefits portal for a small employer (no coding required)
● Navigate insurance carrier departments to obtain documents, invoices, online access,
claims data, or any other information needed to serve our clients
●Customize complex forms and templates in DocuSign

In 2-3 years, the candidate will be able to:

●Lead a key client check-in meeting
● Customize a benefits portal for a large client or complex set of benefits
●Identify opportunities to add or change a client’s benefits package
● Work with third party administrators and ERISA attorney to customize and distribute
client compliance documents
● Build a 16-20 page, comprehensive employee benefits guide for key clients
● Customize template deck of 30-50 slides for client enrollment meetings
● Work directly with partners (health guide app, wellness programs, supplemental benefit
carriers, enrollment services) to coordinate service delivery on behalf of clients

🎯COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS

Hours – M-F 8:30am-5pm (can be flexible)
