We are looking for a Temporary Contract person to start immediately on several large projects, will have the option to become Full Time Perm position for the right person

**Additionally, we are in growth mode and very busy so there is potential for someone with experience to earn additional hours.

Competitive starting wage; $20-$30/hr (DOE). Flexible Pay options to start. 1099 or W2 offered while under contract position type.


Our Industry uses many names to describe this position:

Low Voltage Technician, Low Voltage Electrician, Structured Cabling Technician, Network Cabling Technician, Cabling and Infrastructure Technician, Field Service Engineer.

However, we have come to prefer Network Cabling Installer because it matches the most commonly used customer understanding of what the position does every day installing networks spanning Information Communications Technology (ICT) that serve a wide range of uses: computer, mobile device, wireless access point, phone, camera.

General Accountabilities

Network Cabling – Horizontal Cabling, Data Cabling, Voice Cabling, Category Cabling (CAT6, CAT6a, CAT8…), Coax Cabling
Backbone Cabling – Multi-Mode Fiber and Multi-Pair Category Cabling
Pathways – Cable support systems
Spaces – Data Centers, Server Room, Computer Room, Equipment Rooms (ER), Telecommunications Rooms (TR), Data Racks and Enclosures, MDFs…
Audio and Video (AV) – Conference and meeting spaces
Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS)
Wireless Network Installation
Data renewal projects – reorganize and clean up an existing data room.
Cable removal and wreck out
Certification and Testing

Must have personal, reliable transportation and driver’s license
Physical office is located in Santa Rosa, CA
Compensation is based on experience and level
Any offer of employment is contingent upon the results of a pre-employment drug test and a background check
All levels must be able to perform the physical demands of wiring a building, navigate small spaces and lifting equipment
Able to lift/move objects up to 75 pounds
Able to carry and work on different sized ladders
Able to work with your hands most of the day, involving repetitive motion
Able to stand for long periods of time
